Rudolph from a triangular Paper Plate

Once upon a time, in a warm little room, a simple white paper plate waited quietly on a table.
“I wish I could become something magical…” it thought.

Suddenly, a little child picked it up with excitement.
“I know what you’ll be! A Christmas reindeer!” the child said with a giggle.

The child painted it carefully with brown paint and left it to dry in the sunlight.
Then came two big friendly eyes, a shiny red nose that glowed like a tiny light, and a pair of proud antlers.

“Now I’m Rudolph!” the paper-plate reindeer cheered.
And from that day on, every Christmas, it stood proudly by the tree, filling the home with the warmest red-nosed smile.
