A wonderfully easy and adorable Halloween DIY: lollipops dressed up as little ghosts with white tissue paper, tiny eyes and a little mouth — the sweetest treat for young and old alike!
What You'll Need
- Round lollipops
- White tissue paper or paper napkins (one per lollipop)
- Thin ribbon or string/twine (black or orange)
- Black marker (or small googly eye stickers + a little glue)
- Small scissors (optional)
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1 — Wrap the ghost Open out the tissue paper and place the lollipop head in the centre. Wrap the tissue paper around it so it drapes down like a little sheet.
Step 2 — Tie the neck Gather the tissue paper around the "neck" — just below the sweet — and tie with ribbon or string. Finish with a pretty bow!
Step 3 — Add the face Using the black marker, draw two little eyes and a small mouth. Alternatively, stick on googly eye stickers and draw only the mouth — even more expressive!
Step 4 — Optional finishing touch Snip the bottom edge of the tissue paper into wavy, jagged strips for a more ethereal and spooky look!
Step 5 — Display them! Stand the little ghosts in a jar or basket for a spectacular Halloween party display. Done!
