Little ones love making snowmen in the snow — but when that's not possible, they enjoy building and drawing them just as much!
We've prepared a fun and cheerful craft that your little ones can make during the festive season or at any other time throughout the winter. Our snowman is easy and all you'll need is the free printable template, scissors and glue. For those who want to add their own personal touch, we've also prepared a black-and-white version that gives children the chance to colour their snowman however they wish!
What You'll Need

- Scissors

- Markers or coloured pencils (optional)
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1 — Print and cut Print the ready-made template and cut out all the pieces together with your little ones. The lines are wonderfully simple — great scissors practice!
Step 2 — Colour in (optional) If you chose the black-and-white template, children can colour their snowman in whatever colours they like — a snowman with a pink hat? Why not!
Step 3 — Glue the body Glue the 3 cylinders of different sizes onto the card or any coloured paper you have at home — the largest at the bottom, the smallest at the top for the head.
Step 4 — Add the details Glue the remaining pieces as shown in the picture — the cylinder for the hat, the arms and the nose. Your snowman is taking shape!
Step 5 — Display it! Your snowman is ready to decorate the home or classroom — a wonderful winter creation made by the children themselves!
