Materials
• Print the prepared material on A4 paper (thicker than regular) or alternatively
• A red piece of cardstock cut into a triangle
• A white paper plate
• Scissors
• Glue
• One large red pom pom and googly eyes (optional)
Instructions
Give your little one the red triangle to cut out (either printed or drawn on red paper).
Next, cut the white plate in half and encourage your child to make small snips with their scissors to create Santa’s beard or hair.
Then help your child cut and glue the eyes, nose, and the tip of Santa’s hat.
If you have googly eyes and a red pom pom, you can use them the same way.
Your sweet little Santa is ready!
Happy New Year!
• Fine motor development:
Cutting the triangle, making small snips on the plate, and gluing the pieces strengthen hand and finger control.
• Creativity boost:
Children design their own version of Santa, choosing materials and decorations.
• Hand–eye coordination:
Placing the eyes, nose, and hat tip requires focus and precision.
• Scissor skills practice:
The small cuts along the plate help children practice safe and controlled scissor use.
• Emotional development:
Creating Santa brings joy, festive excitement, and a sense of accomplishment.
