This is a fun and easy craft that children love to make not only at Christmas but throughout the whole winter!
What You'll Need
- Printed template (ready to download below)
- Toilet paper roll
- Scissors
- Glue
- Markers (optional)
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1 — Print and cut Print the ready-made template and cut out the snowman pieces — the body covering, hat, scarf and any other details. Let your little ones take part in cutting the simpler outlines!
Step 2 — Wrap the roll Wrap the toilet paper roll with the white template and glue it securely. Alternatively, if your little ones want to draw on it themselves, cover the roll together with white paper and let them create the eyes, mouth and carrot nose with markers!
Step 3 — Decorate the snowman Glue the pieces onto the roll one by one — hat, scarf, buttons, arms. The snowman is starting to take shape!
Step 4 — Add the face Glue or draw the eyes, carrot nose and cheerful smile. Every snowman has its own unique expression!
Step 5 — Display it! Your cheerful snowman is ready to decorate a bedroom, a table or the mantelpiece — a wonderful winter creation made by the children themselves!
