Christmas Tree Ornament Made from Craft Sticks

Once upon a time, three little craft sticks were lying on a table, dreaming of becoming something special for Christmas.
A child with bright, excited eyes picked them up and said:

“I’m going to make a Christmas tree out of you!”

The child painted them green, glued them into a triangle, and decorated them with pom poms and shiny sequins.
The craft sticks felt like they were coming to life!

When the little star was placed on top, the tiny tree sparkled with joy.
And when it was hung on the big Christmas tree, it felt proud.

It was small, but full of love, color, and Christmas magic!

Materials

• Craft sticks
• Tempera paints in different shades of green and any other colors your child likes
• A small printable star (available in many of our site's Christmas crafts) and a small piece of brown paper for the trunk
• Scissors
• Glue
• Pom poms, buttons, or any other decorative materials your child prefers
• A small ribbon to hang the ornament on the Christmas tree

Instructions

Set out the tempera paints and let your little one choose the colors they prefer.
Encourage your child to paint 3 craft sticks. Cut the third one so it becomes slightly shorter, and glue all three together in a triangle shape.

Let your child decorate the triangle with pom poms or any materials they want (buttons, sequins, etc.).

Finally, add a star at the top, a small brown paper piece at the bottom for the trunk, and glue a ribbon on the back for hanging.

Your new ornament is ready!
Your proud little creator will happily hang it on the Christmas tree!

Happy decorating!
