Here is a Christmas card that is wonderfully easy for your little ones — and loved by children and grown-ups alike!

The designs are simple and the outlines are easy to follow — your little ones can cut out the Rudolph pieces without any difficulty and glue them onto the red or green card we've prepared for you.

What You'll Need

  • Printed template (ready to download below)
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Markers or coloured pencils (optional)

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1 — Print and prepare the card Print the ready-made template. For the card, you can choose to: print the ready-made colour version, use coloured card stock you already have at home, or let the children colour a white A4 sheet themselves. In all cases, fold the paper in half to give it the shape of a card!

Step 2 — Cut the pieces Encourage your little ones to cut out the large triangle, the antlers, the red nose and the little eyes. The simple outlines make them easy for small hands to manage!

Step 3 — Build Rudolph's face Glue the large triangle onto the card and fold it downwards to form Rudolph's face. Add the antlers at the top, the red nose at the tip of the triangle, and finally the eyes — just as shown in the picture!

Step 4 — Add your own creative touch! This craft offers so many possibilities — children can colour Rudolph brown, draw the antlers or eyes themselves, or even stick on googly eyes for a wonderfully funny result!

Step 5 — Write your wishes! Inside the card, children can write their Christmas wishes or draw whatever they like. A handmade card filled with love is the most special gift of all!

Happy crafting and happy holidays!

Educational Benefits

Fine motor skills: Cutting, folding and gluing exercise the small muscles of the hands — excellent preparation for writing.

Spatial awareness: Placing and folding the triangle to create a face develops an understanding of space and shapes — skills directly linked to mathematics.

Creative expression: The many options — choice of card colour, decoration style, choice of materials — give every child the freedom to express themselves in their own unique way.

Language development: Writing Christmas wishes introduces children to written language and the joy of communication — even with a parent's help, it is an important first experience.

Emotional intelligence: Making something for someone you love nurtures empathy, generosity and the joy of giving — values that begin to take shape from a very early age.
